Sweet C. is a cake artist who has a passion for baking. A graduate of Law with Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and Master of Laws (LL.M). I had always loved baking and this started right from my childhood and from time to time I would want family and friends to get my baked goods for some change which I never received a dime for, because I was always giving them out on credit, in fact, it was more important to me that my baked goods were all sold out on credit than to have part of it paid for and the other part not sold at all. Anyway, my love for baking grew but I was really not baking for profit but for the fun of it. I actually baked my wedding cake 20 years ago (15 tiered cake) 7 tiered were on the cake table while the other 8 tiered were cut out for the guests. It was a large and huge wedding anyway. I also baked other wedding cakes about the same time as well but as a hobby. My baking career actually kicked off 9 years ago when I volunteered to sponsor a loved one's wedding cake and because I wanted something very special and custom, I began to search online where I got this baker whom I ended up paying $1000 for a 4 tier wedding cake. Few months down the line, I thought and said to myself "wait a minute" did I really pay $1000 for that wedding cake? And this is something I know I have a passion for. Again, I began to search for where I could take classes on cake decorating which I did. I took few master classes and the rest is history. I am still learning all the trending stuff in the industry but I do more of self teaching.
Now coming to the real reason why I created Sweet Admirer bakery, It was because of the fact that every time I walked into the regular shops for cakes and desserts, I realized that I do not get the option to make too many choices other than to pick just what I see on the display, so I decided to create Sweet Admirer bakery where one can come in to customize their cakes or desserts to their style and liking and also to have them freshly baked from scratch. Now, clients can have a wild range of options to pick as many choices as they desire, making them mix and match flavors, thereby giving them the option to have a taste of all of our flavors without having to break the bank.
Mission
I actually started Sweet Admirer Bakery with a passion for baking delicious treats that bring people together. Our recipes have been passed from dedicated research and effort to providing the best of cakes and desserts to the people of Houston and beyond with specialty cakes, custom desserts, pastries and bread that is designed to their style and we take pride in using only the finest ingredients.
